The 9th annual Hospice of Cincinnati Summertime Classic was a tremendous success in raising funds for Fernside, Hospice of Cincinnati’s children’s bereavement program. Held on May 23 and 24, more than 300 dinner guests bid on fabulous silent and live auction items and 200 golfers enjoyed a beautiful day on the Kenwood Country Club’s two courses. Event chairs were Robert Halonen, Bethesda Services, and Jeff Brinkman, Fifth Third Bank.
Fernside provides a safe place where grieving children and their families come together with peers to share their stories, feelings, memories and thoughts about their futures. Proceeds from the Summertime Classic fund Fernside's peer support groups, camp programs and community outreach.
