Legacy Society

The Legacy Society was created by the Bethesda Foundation to recognize those individuals who have included Bethesda North Hospital, Hospice of Cincinnati, Fernside or the Bethesda School of Nursing Alumni Association in their estate plans. We are especially grateful to these individuals and their families. Members of the Legacy Society share a common bond of generosity that helps make a difference by supporting many programs and services well into the future. In addition, some forms of legacy giving may offer you significant tax savings, allowing you to maximize your gifts to your family members and loved ones while leaving a lasting legacy.

Society membership is automatically granted to those who include these entities in their estate plans through such means as a bequest, life insurance policy, trust, charitable gift annuity or other planned giving arrangement. Members are recognized at an annual Legacy Society event and on a permanent donor wall in the lobby of Bethesda North Hospital. They also receive a quarterly newsletter that provides useful information about estate planning.
